AFC Fylde have announced the news that loanee Ethan Mitchell has extended his loan deal with the club until the end of the 2023/24 season, as confirmed via a statement on the club's website.
The 20-year-old originally penned a one-month loan deal during January but following his impressive start with Chris Beech's side, this has now been extended until the end of the season.
Mitchell has made three appearances for the National League side so far this season and has helped the club to win back-to-back matches which has subsequently improved their chances of avoiding relegation this season.

Mitchell spent a brief period of last season with Non-League side Plymouth Parkway, but the increase in quality hasn't phased the youngster so far and has quickly won over support from the fans.
If his performances and form can continue, Fylde will be giving themselves a huge step in their quest to avoid the drop this season in my honest opinion.
